For more than a decade, CASEL has provided the field with consumer reports-style guides to high- quality, evidence-based SEL programs. With a growing demand for SEL, providing educators with guidance on SEL programming, including how to select and adopt SEL programs, is essential to helping ensure SEL is being implemented with quality. This session will provide an overview of CASEL’s Program Guide review process, how CASEL’s criteria for programs have evolved over time to account for advances in the SEL field, and how educators can use the Guide to select a program that best fits their school community.
