AUDITORIUM THEATRE :: GIORDANO DANCE CHICAGO | 19 Choreographer and Collaborator Biographies continued has been presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bates Dance Festival, Women In Dance Leadership Conference, Performática (Mexico), Solo Duo Dance Festival (NYC), Detroit Dance City Festival, Charlotte Dance Festival, Blackbox International Theatre & Dance Festival (Bulgaria), Dance Gallery Festival (TX), Men In Dance Festival (WA), the McCallum Choreography Competition (CA) and with JUNTOS Collective (Guatemala) where she served as the outreach choreographer in the summer of 2019. Autumn taught as Instructor of Dance at Northern Illinois University (2009–2015) and as Assistant Professor of Dance at the University of Arizona for four years. She teaches nationally for schools including the Atlanta Academy of Ballet and Dance, Vitacca Vocational School for Dance (Houston), Jacqueline’s School of Ballet (Utah), State Street Ballet Summer Intensive/Professional Track, Open Doors Dance Festival and the Bates Dance Festival. Autumn is currently an inaugural faculty member of the School of the Arts at Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville, GA. ADAM HOUSTON (see bio on page 16) CHRISTOPHER HUGGINS Originally from Boston, Christopher Huggins trained under the tutelage of Andrea H. Major, the late Danny Sloan, and Martha Armstrong Gray. He attended the State University of New York at Purchase, the Juilliard School at Lincoln Center, and was a Fellowship Scholar at the Ailey School. He is a former soloist of the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Aterballetto of Reggio Emilia, Italy. As a master teacher and choreographer, he works in Japan, Korea, Jamaica, South Africa, and throughout Europe and the United States. Mr. Huggins has served as an Adjunct Professor of Dance at the University for the Arts in Philadelphia and at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center/Fordham in New York City. He has taught countless master classes and workshops at several universities and dance institutions including Howard University, Spelman College, Wayne State University, University of the Arts, Ailey/Fordham, Western Michigan University, Virginia State University, Virginia School of the Arts, Georgetown University, Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, and the West Virginia Dance Festival. In addition to his work for Giordano Dance Chicago, Huggins has choreographed for numerous companies including Philadanco, Dallas Black Dance Theater, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Lula Washington Dance Theater, Movements Dance Theater (Jamaica), Oslo Dance Ensemble, Kjara Staric Dance (Slovenia), Dance Alloy, The August Wilson Dance Ensemble, Cape Dance Company (Cape Town, South Africa), Ailey II, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. RONEN (RONI) KORESH Roni Koresh is an Israeli-American choreographer whose work presents “a wealth of forceful invention” (Art Burst Miami) . Koresh has established a repertoire of over 60 works “rang[ing] from intimate to high-voltage” (Northwestern Press) . He develops 2 to 3 new works each year including commissions for notable companies across the country. His work has been supported
