Traditionally danced by men, dancer and choreographer Claudia Pizarro was inspired by the rhythms, technique, and masculine line of this flamenco style. According to this East Asian legend, we are destined to connect with one another via this magical red cord from the lunar gods. We are connected regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This piece is dedicated to those who endure transformation and to those that strive to inspire through art and compassion.
