On October 16 – 20 and October 23 – 27, the Garden will close at 5 p.m. and will reopen for Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-Lanterns ticketed guests only at 6 p.m. Dining Through September 2, the Garden View Café is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and the outdoor Garden Grille is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, weather permitting. Beginning September 3, the Garden View Café is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and the outdoor Garden Grille is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends, weather permit- ting. The Rose Terrace Beer Garden is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday through September 2; weekends only, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. from September 3 through September 29, weather permitting. TrueJuice at the Fruit & Vegetable Garden is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through September 1; open Monday, September 2. Shopping Through September 2, the Garden Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Beginning September 3, the Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reference The Plant Information Service is open from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday (closed holidays); the phone hotline is available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, and noon to 4 p.m Saturday and Sunday. Tram Tours Tram tours start at 10 a.m. daily (weather permitting) through October 27; see website for schedule; fee applies. Sunday Shuttle Service to Glencoe Metra The Sundays-only shuttle service meets trains between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. through September 1. Round-trip shuttle tickets are $2.
