It takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; the Benefit Preview Party is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 19. Fees apply. The members-only pre- view bulb sale is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday; the public bulb sale is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Spooky Pooch Parade Sunday, October 13 Dogs are allowed at the Garden only one day a year, for this special event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Judges will award best costume prizes in several categories. This event sells out quickly so register early. No ticket is required for parade spectators but tickets are required for parade participants; registration is required for all dogs. Fee applies. Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-Lanterns Wednesday – Sunday, October 16 – 20 & October 23 – 27 This popular event has been expanded to ten nights. Come celebrate Halloween and experience the moonlit Garden after hours. See the work of master carvers on 1,000 LED-lit pumpkins from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. As a bonus, there will be costumed en- tertainment along the path, and the Model Railroad Garden: Landmarks of America will be decorated for Halloween.
