Share and swap seeds with other gardeners, take a class, and learn more about starting seeds, saving seeds, and the international effort to save seeds. Get a whole new historical perspective on seeds from Blackberry Farm’s John Coykendall, author, master gardener, storyteller, and artist. Activities are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; some fees apply; preregistration required for some events. The Seed Swap is 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Saturday, January 25 Winter Exploration Day Caldwell Woods Warming Shelter, 6350 W. Devon Avenue, Chicago Embrace the cold weather and learn how to follow local animal tracks, find your way using a compass, and (weather permitting) snowshoe.
