Each season, you will explore the Gar- den grounds and discover an array of striking plants, interesting color and texture combina- tions, and unique container arrangements. You will create a seasonal container for your sun or partial shade patio or porch. All workshops are taught by Kathryn Deery of the Chicago Botanic Garden. Please bring gloves. Dress for the weather. Your container may include annuals, perennials, herbs, and decorative foliage. $71/$89 | Classroom 4, Learning Center Tuesday, June 16, 10 a.m. – noon or 6 – 8 p.m. Autumn Containers at the Garden Take a Garden walk to view the Garden’s fall containers. Then create a cool-season mixed container with a variety of plants suitable for a full-sun or partial-shade location. Your container may include annuals, perennials, herbs, decora- tive foliage, cool-season vegetables, ornamental grasses, a decorative vine, and gourds. $71/$89 | Classroom 4, Learning Center Tuesday, September 15, 10 a.m. – noon or 6 – 8 p.m. Winter Containers at the Garden Explore winter containers at the Garden and learn ways to extend your own into the winter season.
