Our wide range of scout programs take children throughout the Garden, and can be scheduled after school on Mondays through Fridays and on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. 90-minute programs (ages 6 – 8): Deposit of $120 covers ten Scouts; plus $10 per additional Scout, due on the day of the program. Two-hour programs (ages 9 – 12): Deposit of $170 covers ten Scouts; plus $15 per additional Scout, due on the day of the program. Scout Seasonal Workshop: Winter Wonders Scouts will discover the magic of nature in winter through hands-on activities that combine art and science by making a fragrant evergreen swag and a beeswax candle. Dress for the weather because Scouts will take a winter wildlife hike through the Garden. Parking is included for all drivers, and all Scouts will receive a fun patch for participating. Please note: this is not a drop-off program so plan to stay with your Scout. The Garden requires at least one adult for every five Scouts. $15 per child | Learning Center Classroom Saturday, December 7 12:45 – 3 p.m. Scout Seasonal Workshop: Earth Day Scouts will decorate picture frames with recycled materials, take home an indoor plant and make a project to help local wildlife. Please dress for the weather, as Scouts will enjoy a tram ride (weather permitting). Parking is included for all drivers and Scouts will receive a fun patch for participating. Children will enjoy enriching activities in nature, science, and art. $63/$79 each day | Classroom 8, Learning Center October 14: Fall Fun January 20: Plants & Animals in Winter February 17: Let it Snow! 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Grades 5 – 8 A school day off is a great day for cooking. Each day, tweens and teens will prepare and try a delicious new dish.
