Discover places and techniques for creating captivating images, review compositional ideas, and explore how to capture the es- sence of the Garden. Explore some of the better-known apps along with instruction on use for nature photography. We will go over the basics of iPhone photography along with fieldwork. Examine the photos taken during class and learn how to enhance, manipulate, or alter them. iPhones are mandatory. This class will be taught online via Zoom. Remove the mystery by exploring features, sizes, and price points of many levels and brands of cameras. Whether you haven’t taken a picture since film days or are completely new to the hobby, all are welcome and no camera is required. This class will be taught online via Zoom. Explore the Use of Time in Photography: Online Through the use of long exposures, you will explore techniques to encode the element of time into what would otherwise be static im- ages. This process reveals a world that, while very real, is not experienced in real time. With the camera, we will translate this hidden world into a visible form for us to contem- plate and make memorable images. This class will be taught online via Cisco Webex.
