Chicago Philharmonic 2019-2020

Adrienne Walker, soprano, is an accomplished actor and vocalist based in New York, NY. She received her undergraduate degree in vocal performance at the historic Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. Upon completing her graduate degree in vocal performance at e Chicago Conservatory of Performing Arts, she began her professional acting career with a production of Porgy and Bess at Court eatre in Chicago. Since then her most notable regional credits are: Sondheim on Sondheim (Porchlight); HAIR, Rent (Paramount eatre); Iphigenia in Aulis, Agamemnon (Court eatre); and e Color Purple (Mercury eatre) where she received a Je nomination for her performance as Shug Avery. Adrienne relocated to New York in 2016 for her Broadway debut starring as Nala in Disney’s e Lion King . She took a short break from e Lion King in spring of 2019 to star as Hattie in Roundabout eatre’s Broadway revival of Kiss Me Kate . Adrienne has had the opportunity to work with notable directors John Doyle, Diane Paulus, Scott Ellis & Casey Nicolaw. Her voice is featured on the LGBTQ animated YouTube series McTucky Fried High as the voice of feisty non- gender-conforming Peanut. Adrienne is currently back at the Pridelands starring in her debut role. Carmen Llop Kassinger, violin, has performed in the violin section of the Chicago Philharmonic for last twenty seasons! In addition, she has performed with the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera, Grant Park Symphony, Chicago Sinfonietta, Lake Forest, and Music of the Baroque. Carmen received her undergraduate degree in violin performance form Stetson University as well as a Master’s of Music from the University of Miami. Lisa Fako, violin, has performed at festivals including Tanglewood, Aspen, Strings in the Mountains, the Moab Music Festival, and the Woodstock Mozart Festival, as well as numerous chamber music recitals live on WFMT radio. A busy freelancer in Chicago, Ms. Fako performs regularly with the Chicago Philharmonic, as well as the Lyric Opera, Lake Forest Symphony, Elgin Symphony, and many others. Monica Reilly, viola, has been active as both a performer and educator on the Chicago music scene for nearly three decades. She has played in the viola section of many of the region’s orchestras including the Lake Forest Symphony and Ravinia Festival Orchestra. Most recently Monica has focused her e orts on pursuing her love of chamber music and is a founding member of e Ravenswood Chamber Players. She has performed frequently as a Chicago Philharmonic Chamber player. Margaret Daly, cello, is a freelance cellist who has been with the Chicago Philharmonic since its inception. She is a member of the Lake Forest Symphony and the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra. She also plays with many area groups including Chamber Opera Chicago, Chicago Opera eater, and Grant Park Festival Orchestra.
