32 2019-2020 SEASON | THE CHICAGO PHILHARMONIC SOCIETY HIRE THE PHILHARMONIC The Chicago Philharmonic Society is available for a wide range of clients to make your event a special one. Musician members of the Society adhere to the highest standard of musical excellence. We are able to draw on a community of nearly 200 professional musicians to form ensembles of any size, from quartets to large scale orchestras, and we guarantee client satisfaction with the high quality of our performance. We have decades of experience across a wide range of music genres including popular, jazz, contemporary, and any segment of the classical repertoire. Flexibility, Experience, and Excellence Chicago Philharmonic orchestras through the years have performed with many leading artists and under the batons of many well-known conductors including Zubin Mehta and Sir Andrew Davis. We are comfortable working with a variety of conductors and soloists requested by clients or can recommend conductors and artists suited to the event. Recent Clients Chicago Philharmonic has been the official orchestra of The Joffrey Ballet since 2012, providing over 50 performances a year at Auditorium Theatre to much acclaim. The Chicago Philharmonic is also the orchestra for the popular Salute to Vienna concert at Chicago’s Symphony Center every holiday season and for companies requiring quality symphonic support at Auditorium Theatre, Chicago Theatre, Harris Theater, and Symphony Center. We have a decades-long relationship with the Ravinia Festival where we have performed alongside such diverse artists as Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Itzhak Perlman, Seth MacFarlane, Sarah MacLachlan, and Earth, Wind and Fire. Other contractual engagements have included English National Ballet, Chicago Opera Theater, the Miami City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Pitchfork Music Festival and Zelda Symphony of the Goddess. We have also performed at events hosted by the Indo-American Heritage Museum, Deloitte, SE2 at the Adler Planetarium, and BBC America’s season two launch of Blue Planet . Comprehensive, Custom Service We work with clients to address any venue needs and, if desired, assist in locating and contracting appropriate space, equipment, and set-up plans, including integrating rehearsal schedules with our client’s own schedules. Our services include an onsite coordinator to ensure a smooth and successful event. Chicago Philharmonic can also assist with designing a music program, if required.
