Aaron is currently the assistant orchestra director at Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools in Northbrook and Glenview, IL where he co-teaches the orchestra classes, is the assistant conductor of the Glenbrook Symphony Orchestra, teaches AP Music Theory, writes orchestrations for both schools’ annual variety shows, and conducts the annual Glenbrook musical. He is also on the faculty at the Music Institute of Chicago where he conducts the Preludio Orchestra, is the assistant director of the Chicago Suzuki Institute, and recently appeared on 98.7 WFMT’s Introductions conducting the Music Institute Cello Choir. He has continued his conducting studies at workshops in the United States and Europe with Gustav Meier and Larry Rachleff, and has conducted the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic (Czech Republic) and the New Symphony of Bulgaria. Aaron began studying cello at the age of 5 with Holly Compton, and then continued with Blake Brasch, Ani Aznavoorian, and Brandon Vamos, and chamber music with Stefan Milenkovich and the Paci ca Quartet. His conducting mentors include Gustav Meier, Larry Rachleff, and his teacher, Donald Schleicher. Jake Ganzer (Choreographer) is excited to be back with Citadel this winter! A director, choreographer, and educator throughout the Chicagoland area, he has worked on productions such as The Tempest, 25th Annual..., West Side Story, All That He Was, and Joseph...Dreamcoat . Most recently, he choreographed Citadel Theatre’s production of Annie this winter. Previous performance credits include work with Porchlight Music Theatre, Music Theater Works, and Congo Square Theater. “Grateful to teachers, friends, and family for the love and support.” Samantha Tink (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be working at Citadel for her 4th season as the resident Stage Manager. A graduate of Carthage College, she also holds an MFA in Directing from East 15 Acting School. Samantha has directed such shows as Life Under Water, The Rose and The Ring, and Seussical the Musical . Samantha is a classically trained singer and has been in such productions as Phantom (Chorus), Pirates of Penzance (Mabel) and Music Man (Tilly Squires/Pick-A-Little-Lady). Eric Luchen (Scenic Designer) is thrilled to return to Citadel where he last designed Annie. Some of his recent credits include The Diary of Anne Frank (Oakton Community College) Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Metropolis Theatre), All Shook Up (Williams Street Rep.) The River (BoHo Theatre) In 2018 he received the Joseph Jefferson award for Best Scenic Design for Fox nder produced by Interrobang Theatre. Other companies he has worked with include Circa 21’ Playhouse, North Central College, After School Matters, The Factory, Brightside Theatre, Artemesia, Redtwist, Sideshow Theatre, and Red Theatre. Fairchild (Lighting Design) is happy to be returning to Citadel for a fth time. Emily N. Brink (Costume Design) has been working as a costume designer for 8 years this fall. Originally from Bloomington, MN, Emily graduated with her MFA in Costume Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in spring of 2019, and she moved to Chicago in September. Some recent highlights from her career include designing over 200 costumes for Leonard Bernstein’s Mass at UNCSA, designing costumes for four productions while serving as a design fellow at the Hangar Theatre Company in Ithaca, NY, and designing costumes for Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol at 3 Brothers Theatre in Waukegan. She has also worked as a costume crafts artisan at Steppenwolf, DePaul University, and Theatre at the Center (Munster, IN.) She is most grateful at this time of year to be living in the Midwest again. Bob Boxer (Sound Design) is Citadel’s resident sound designer. Bob designed sound for Citadel’s productions of Joseph and the Technicolored Dreamcoat, The Little Foxes, Sex With Strangers, Scrooge and the Ghostly Spirits, Light Up The Sky, A Christmas Story, The Birds, and Elemeno Pea . Bob has worked with the Buffalo Grove Arts Commission, Symphonic Band and Parks Department. In his other life, he is a radio engineer, specializing in remote broadcasts of sports and special events. Bob sends his love and thanks to his wife Lori for her continuing support. Donna Price (Props Designer) Donna is thrilled to work with the Citadel Theater for the rst time. Donna has enjoyed designing and building sets and props for many years around the north shore. Some of the theaters she has designed for include Deer eld Family Theater, Theater D, The Glencoe Jr. High Project, Highland Park Players and Glenbrook South High School. Love and thanks to husband, Marc and daughters Becky and Lauren, for all their love and support. Evan Sposato (Master Carpenter) Evan has spent the last two decades in and around the theatre as an actor, director, stage manager, technical director, and production manager. He spent eight years at the Waterville Opera House in Waterville, Maine, working both onstage and behind the scenes. During the Opera House’s centennial renovation, he was the technical advisor to the building team and wrote grants totaling more than $2 million. While in Maine, Evan also served as the longtime president of the board of directors of Aqua City Actor’s Theatre and worked with Bossov Ballet Theatre and Everyman Repertory Theatre. Since moving to the Chicago area, Evan has worked as the Technical Director and Production Manager at Drury Lane and has built shows for Steep, Jackalope, Rivendell, Interrobang, City Lit, New Colony (company member), and others. When Evan isn’t in a theater, he works with political campaigns on voter contact and digital outreach. Kip Andreoni (Scenic Charge Artist) recently a production assistant at Improv Playhouse in Libertyville and formerly a scenic designer for Loyola University Chicago. This marks Kip’s rst time working with Citadel Theatre he is excited to help bring life to the set through painting.
