12 | DO NORTH Every one of the 17 interactive exhibits is a play station that ignites curiosity, inspires imagination and stirs creativity with exciting learning experiences that engage and nurture young minds. And there’s just one rule: Children make the rules. Our job is to harness the power of play and use it to jump-start the next generation. Our Museum’s exhibits, programs and activities are all based on best thinking, research and practices. We’re not just a kid’s museum. We’re an incubator for transforming young minds into creative thinkers, learners and leaders. Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago is conveniently located at the intersection of Patriot Boulevard and West Lake Avenue on The Glen in Glenview.The Museum is located between Willow Road and Lake Avenue, and between Interstates 94 and 294. By Car From I-94 (Edens Expressway) From the south: Head north on I-94 (Edens Expressway). Take the Lake Avenue West exit (Exit #34B) and head west for 3 miles. Turn right onto Patriot Boulevard. From the north: Head south on I-94 (Edens Expressway). Take the Skokie Road exit (Exit #34A). Turn right on Lake Avenue and head west for 3 miles.Turn right onto Patriot Boulevard. From I-294 (Tristate Tolway): From the south: Head north on I-294 (Tri-State Tollway).Take the Willow Road exit (Exit #27) and head east for 2 1/2 miles.Turn right onto Patriot Boulevard.
