Sunday, Mar 31 • anytime from 11am–2 pm APRIL GPS Scavenger Hunt Learn about this technology-inspired scavenger hunt. We’ll provide coordinates of hidden treasures to nd in the forest. Check out one of our GPS units or bring your own. Sunday, Apr 7 • anytime from Noon–2 pm Conservation @ Home Series: Building Better Soils Join University of Illinois Extension staff and volunteers to explore soil science in time for this growing season. We need birders of any experience to help us for any part of the day to count the numbers and types of birds. Sunday, May 5 • 6 am–1 pm Mother’s Day Wildflower Walk Learn about spring woodland wild owers on a casual hike. Sunday, May 12 • 1:30 pm Novice Nature Photography Workshop A naturalist will guide you through techniques to capture your outdoor experience. Point and shoot cameras provided. Register by 5/15.
