First of 2 classes. Ages 14 & up. Friday, Apr 5 • 10 am Ornithology 101: Wood Warblers Part 2 After preening our warbler identi cation skills, we’ll hike the trail and search for warblers to identify. Second of 2 classes. Ages 14 & up. Friday, Apr 13 • 10 am Sagawau Science: Spring Wildflower Walk* Take a closer look at these short-lived wild owers while walking through thewoods. Saturday, Apr 20; Sunday, May 12 • 1 pm Sagawau Science Arts–Wildflowers* Use your artistic skills to explore nature’s beauty and render a nished drawing/ painting of wild owers. Art supplies available for loan. Ages 14 & up. Saturday, Apr 27 • 1 pm Spring Pollinators* Meet the mining bees and other early pollinators and learn to welcome them in your landscape. Indoor presentation followed by hike. Ages 14 & up. Sunday, Apr 28 • 1 pm MAY Birding Big Sit Sagawau is counting each individual bird as it visits a speci c area. Stay as long as you want. Binoculars available for loan. All ages. Saturday, May 4 • 6 am–Noon Garlic Mustard Pull* Stop this invasive plant from spreading through our woodlands. All ages. Sunday, May 5 • 1 pm World Migratory Bird Day Enjoy and conserve birds by taking a bird hike and cleaning up litter. Litter clean- up begins 9 am. All ages. Saturday, May 11 • 9 am-2 pm Prairie Hike* Join us for a hike around Blenz Prairie. See what is blooming and how the prairie is responding to restoration efforts.
