THROUGHOUT the SUMMER Simple Summer Fun Join us on select Thursday afternoons in July and Aug for a family friendly drop-in program featuring art, exploration, nature play or games. Activities will take place near the building. Thursdays, July 11 & 25, Aug 1 & 15 2–4 pm Bats!* We’ll learn about these mysterious creatures, then look for them in the dark. Friday, July 26 • 8 pm Friday, Aug 9 • 7:30 pm Buggy Night* Summer evenings are full of insect song and dance. Investigate bugs up close, enjoy their melodic buzzing and discover who’s uttering at night. Saturday, Aug 24 • 7 pm Build forts and climb a spider web as you explore Crabtree’s 3-acre nature play area. Open Every Day Explore Nature Play Explore the Forest Celebrate the Forest Preserves of Cook County. Climb a tree, meet a critter, check out the restoration equipment, try archery and get your bike checked over.
