Wednesdays, June 5 & 19, July 3, Aug 7 & 21 • 10 am Photography for Early Birds Nature center grounds will open early for photographers. Saturdays, June 1, July 6, Aug 3 • 6 am Summer in the Woods Enjoy summertime in the woods on a casual nature walk with a naturalist. Sundays, June 2, July 7, Aug 4 • 1:30 pm The Buzz on Bees Visit our beehives and pollination garden as we learn about the important role honeybees play in nature. Sundays, June 9, July 14, Aug 11 • 1:30 pm Animal Encounters Learn about some local animals and their amazing adaptations. Sundays, June16, July 21, Aug 18•1:30 pm 3120 Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook, 847-824-8360 Building: 9 am–5 pm, closed Fridays. Grounds: 8 am–5 pm daily, Free Admission 20 EVENING PROGRAMS Experience River Trail in the evening. $3/person (must register in advance) check in 15 minutes before the program start time. Twilight Hike* Learn about animals and more on a guided walk at night. Friday, June 14 • 7:30 pm Fireside Tales* Enjoy a summer sunset with stories and snacks around a camp re. Sunday, July 7 • 7:30 pm Sunset Nature Photography* A naturalist-led photography experience focusing onnatural scenes. Location TBD. Ages 16 & up. Saturday, July 27 • 7–9:30 pm Date Night Hike Couples and friends are invited to enjoy the nature center at their leisure. Hike our candlelit trails, relax around a camp re and enjoy dinner. Adults only. $20/person. Registration, payment required by 6/3. Saturday, June 8 • 7–10 pm
