Outdoor activities and s’mores provided. Park at Potawatomi Woods. Camp Dan Beard Saturday, Dec 7 • 4–8 pm Winter Bonfire Enjoy the warmth of a bonfire, nature play, artmaking and s’mores. Camp Shabbona Woods Saturday, Dec 14 • 4–8 pm Winter Break-Out Adventure Come for fun and adventure during winter break! Climbing wall, snowshoes (conditions permitting), hikes and more. Free. Camp Sullivan Saturday, Dec 28 • 11 am–2 pm Winter Campfire & Night Hike* Enjoy a brisk walk through the woods and warm up around the campfire with s’mores and hot cocoa. Camp Shabbona Woods Friday, Jan 24 • 7 pm Snowshoe Trekking Enjoy the Forest Preserves on snowshoes! Conditions permitting; 4” of hard snow required. Free. Camp Reinberg Sunday, Jan 12 • 11 am–2 pm Camp Bullfrog Lake Sunday, Feb 9 • 11 am–2 pm CLIC Training* ( Camping Leadership Immersion Course) For leaders of organized groups. This overnight course teaches essential camping skills so you can confidently lead a youth group camping trip. Complete the course, then bring groups of up to 30 for overnight stays at Camp Sullivan. Training required to access camping gear. $25/person. CLIMBING WALL Registered Camp Sullivan campers can reserve one free hour of climbing at check-in, pending availability. Additional time: $5/hr. CAMP & CLIMB Book your party at Camp Sullivan and enjoy exclusive use of the activity barn’s upper level and climbing wall for two hours.
