MARCH Biomimicry: Biology to Design* Biomimicry means to imitate life. Discover how nature inspires innovation and design. Join a naturalist on an observation hike and creative design session. Ages 15 & up. Saturday, Mar 7 • 1:30 pm Spring Equinox Night Hike* Welcome the arrival of spring with a sunset stroll, bon re and s’mores. Family program. Friday, Mar 20 • 6:30–8 pm Creative Gardening* Can you garden in the winter? Yes! Come make hypertufa pots for your indoor/outdoor gardens and terrariums. Ages 15 & up. Saturday, Mar 21 • 1:30–3 pm Spring Break Field Camp* Children ages 8-10 will be immersed in the outdoors through nature activities and wildlife discovery. $50 per child. Monday–Thursday, Mar 30–Apr 2 9 am–12:30 pm APRIL Friday Night Frogs* Use your sense of hearing to identify which frogs are calling tonight. The data will be used for the Calling Frog Survey. Adults and children 10 & up. Friday, Apr 17 • 7:30–9:45 pm Spring Wildflower Hike* Check out the array of wild owers as we walk the White Oak Trail. Hike will just exceed 1 mile. Family program.
