These tools provide information that helps with conservation across the world. Bird Hikes: 8 am, 9:30 am Bird Banding: 9 am–1 pm Telemetry Demonstration: 11 am, 1pm Saturday, May 9 • 9 am–2 pm Garlic Mustard Pull* Welcome back native plants and wildlife by pulling invasive garlic mustard. All Ages. Saturday, May 2 • 1 pm Gardening for Wildlife* Learn how to attract hummingbirds, songbirds, and pollinators by using plant choice and landscape structure. Sunday, May 3 • 1 pm Breeding Bird Identification* Learn to identify local breeding birds by listening to their songs and calls. This two-part program will be helpful for Bird Conservation Network’s Breeding Bird Monitors. Ages 18 & up. Indoor Presentation: Saturday, May 16 • 10 am Hike: Saturday, May 23 • 8:30 am Prairie Hike* Hike around our prairie with a naturalist. See what’s blooming and how the prairie is responding to restoration efforts. Saturday, May 30 • 1 pm Heart Your Park Service Day* Remove invasive species and help nature thrive during a Day of Service sponsored by CITGO and in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association. Ages 10 & up. Earth Day: Saturday, Apr 18 • 9 am–Noon National Arbor Day: Sunday, Apr 26 • 9 am–Noon Wildflower Walk* Enjoy our wild owers while leisurely walking along our wooded trails. Sunday, Apr 19 • 1 pm MAY Birding Big Sit Sagawau is counting each individual bird as it visits a speci c area. Stay as long as you want. Binoculars available for loan. All Ages.
