Open Every Day SEPTEMBER Nature Table Stop by and see what artifacts our naturalist has pulled out to share with visitors. Sunday, Sept 4 • 1–3 pm Full Moon Hike* Hike a trail under the full moon. Ages 7 & up w/adult. Friday, Sept 9 • 7 pm Solar Gazing Join us and the Northwest Suburban Astronomy Club as we take a gander at the sun with special scopes. Saturday, Sept 10 • 1 pm Insect Safari Look, listen and learn about the insects of late summer during this hands-on hike. Sunday, Sept 11 • 1 pm National CleanUp Day -drop in Help care for our natural world by joining us for a litter clean-up or pick up supplies for your own clean up in a preserve or park near you. Saturday, Sept 17 • 10 am–Noon 3 Stover Road, Barrington Hills, 847-381-6592 Grounds: 8 am–5 pm daily, Starting November 1, grounds close at 4 pm. Free Admission Please note: Crabtree Nature Center is undergoing construction and will be closed throughout the season. Trails remain open. All events listed here will be outside.
