Saturdays and Sundays • 3 pm Wildlife Connections Stop by the visitor center to learn about reptiles, mammals and birds from the residents of Misericordia-Heart of Mercy. Tuesdays • 10 am–Noon Animal Encounters Join our staff for an up-close look at one of our animals. Sunday & Monday, Sept 4 & 5; Sundays, Oct 2, Nov 27 • 1:30 pm 3120 Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook, 847-824-8360 Building: 9 am–5 pm, closed Fridays. Grounds: 8 am–5 pm daily Starting November 1, building and grounds close at 4 pm. Free Admission FALL FESTIVAL Celebrate the season with a special day of autumn fun. Storytelling, beekeeping demonstrations, animal encounters, pumpkin painting, honey sales, activities and more! Admission is free; there may be small fees for some activities and food. Sunday, Oct 16 • 10 am–3 pm There will be event parking at a nearby location and free shuttles throughout the event. More info: 847-824-8360. Small Serendipity Nature stories, crafts and activities.
