Help do your part in making sure native plant species thrive! Wednesday, Oct 19 • 10 am Theodore Stone Forest, 67th St, east of S La Grange Rd, Hodgkins Kayak the Des Plaines* Kayak 3 miles of the Des Plaines River from Schuth’s Grove to Plank Road Meadow. Instruction, sanitized equipment, kayaks and shuttle provided. Wednesday, Oct 26 • 3:30 pm Schuth’s Grove, W Cermak Rd, west of Des Plaines Ave Stars, Spooky Stories, & S ’mores Join a family-friendly evening with a cozy fire, s ’mores, a “spooky” story trail, star gazing, pumpkin painting and more.
