The goal is to connect diverse communities to nature through birding programs and events. Look for birding programs listed on each nature center page or attend a partner-hosted event by zone. Illinois Young Birders Guided Walk* Young birders ages 9–18 are welcome to join a guided walk with IL Young Birders to explore the habitats at Eggers Grove and Burnham Prairie in search of fall migratory birds and other wildlife. To prevent bird collisions at your home and workplace, cover the outside of your windows with a screen or pattern of any shape.
