Camp Reinberg Camp Bullfrog Lake Camp Sullivan Camp Shabbona Family Campout* Intro to camping for families. Includes meals, all camping gear and outdoor fun. $75/family (group up to 6). Camp Shabbona Woods Saturday–Sunday,May 28–29 • 4pm–Noon Snowshoe Walk* Enjoy the Forest Preserves on snowshoes! Conditions permitting; 4” of hard snow required. Free. Camp Reinberg Thursday, Mar 3 • 5:30–6:30 pm Camping 101* Join us for a workshop covering basic camping skills. All programs begin at 5:30 pm. Camp Bullfrog Thursday, Mar 10 & May 5 Camp Reinberg Wednesday, Apr 6; Tuesday, May 24 Camp Sullivan Wednesday, May 11 Know Before You Go: Map Reading and Orienteering* Learn basic map reading and compass skills. Ages 8 & up. Camp Reinberg Saturday, Mar 12 • 11 am Day Hiking Leadership Training* For teachers/youth educators! Free training providing all the tools to take groups out into the Preserves for the day. Bemis Woods-North Saturday, Mar 26 • 11:30 am Wolf Rd, south of 31st St CLIC Training* ( Camping Leadership Immersion Course) For leaders of organized groups. This overnight course teaches essential camping skills so you can confidently lead a youth group camping trip. Complete the course, then bring groups of up to 30 for overnight stays at Camp Sullivan.
