Ages 10 & up. Bring binoculars, limited pairs to lend. Sunday, Apr 10 • 1:30 pm Earth Day Appreciation Walk* 1-mile walk. Friday, Apr 22 • 1:30 pm Earth Day Every Day for Girl Scouts* Girl Scouts, spend time outside learning conservation activities, Leave No Trace principles, birding, nature art making, orienteering and guided hikes. Ages 9 & up. Saturday, Apr 23 • 8 am–Noon Waterfowl Watch* Walk along Long John Slough with frequent stops to observe the birds on the water. Bring binoculars, limited pairs to lend. Sunday, Apr 24 • 9 am Night of the Frogs* Join a bilingual Spanish walk and use your sense of hearing to identify which frogs are calling. Data is used for the Calling Frog Survey for the Chicago Wilderness Region. Ages 10 & up.
