Friday, July 1–Monday, July 25 9 am–5 pm Amazing Animal Skulls-Drop-in Challenge yourself to touch and identify real animal skulls and learn how local animals are adapted for their diet and habitat by examining their skulls! Saturday, July 2 • 1 pm–3 pm Insect Safari* See the world through insect eyes, make bug sounds, and explore the trails while looking for and catching different species of insects! Children ages 5–10 w/adult. Sunday July 10 • 10:30 am The ScAvengers! at Trailside Museum* Join a short walk to learn about native scavengers, then make a superhero mask based on your favorite! Materials provided. Children ages 4–8 w/adult. Sunday, July 17 • 1:30 pm Plant Defense Mechanisms* Join a guided walk as we identify native plants that use defense mechanisms such as thorns and poison to protect themselves. Ages 18 & up.
