Find pollinators on owers and upload the photo to iNaturalist. Kick-off Labor Day weekend with this nationwide campaign with the National Recreation and Park Association. Daily throughout September starting Friday, Sep 1–Saturday, Sept 30 , 8 am–4 pm Naturalist Choice Drop-in for a look at what is happening in nature now. Sunday, Sept 10; Saturday, Oct 7 • 10 am Sweeping the Prairie* What kind of invertebrates can we nd in the prairie and why is it important to know? Sweep net through the prairie and along the side from an accessible path to nd out. Family program. Saturday, Sept 16 • 1 pm Fall Fungi* Explore two major divisions of the fungi kingdom with a talk followed by a short walk. Ages 18 & up. Sunday, Sept 17 • 1 pm Bilingual Bird Migration Walk*: Party for the Preserves On a one-hour, leisurely walk on Sagawau’s grassy trails, discuss where birds migrate to and where they overwinter. Saturday, Sept 23 • 8:30 am Caminata bilingüe sobre la migración de aves Durante una hora, caminaremos por los senderos de Sagawau para discutir donde las aves migran y en donde invernan las aves de nuestra región.
