Southwest Zone Help remove invasive shrubs that crowd out native wild owers. Staff will guide you in ecological restoration, providing instruction on using hand tools to cut woody plants and place them in a brush pile burn. Equipment, refreshments provided. Staff will explain ecological stewardship and how you can make a difference for plants and animals. Collected seeds will later be spread in degraded forest preserve areas to restore the land.
