Beginners welcome; teens encouraged. Thursday, Mar 30; Wednesday, Apr 26, 4–5 pm MARCH Spring Equinox Walk* Celebrate the start of the season with a guided walk while looking for signs of spring. Light refreshments will be served. Sunday, Mar 19 • 1–2:30 pm APRIL Frog Survey Night Hike* Be a community scientist for an evening as we listen for frog calls and other creatures of the night. Ages 12 & up. Friday, Apr 14 • 7–9 pm Starry Night Walk* Come for night sky observations and a guided walk and as we admire the constellations and learn about astronomy. Saturday, Apr 29 • 7–8:30 pm MAY Dia de las Madres Walk* Calling all mothers for a 1-mile walk on our trails followed by coffee and pan dulce (Mexican pastries). In English and Spanish. Wednesday, May 10 • Noon–2 pm World Migratory Bird Day Join us for a day dedicated to celebrating our feathered neighbors! There will be guided walks, a big sit, and activities and crafts throughout the day. Saturday, May 13 • 7 am–1 pm Forest Tea Party* Join us for a woodland tea party with unstructured free play, stories, and engage with natural materials. Light refreshments will be available. Saturday, May 6 • 10 am–1 pm Family Campout* Intro to camping for families. Includes meals, all camping gear and outdoor fun. $75/family (group up to 6).
