Saturday, Sept 14 • 6:30–10 pm Tower Road Boat Launch, Tower Rd, West of Forestway Dr, Northfield Teen Exploration Day: Paleontology Mystery* Learn the science behind the study of fossils. Participate in a simulated fossil hunt to shed light on a 12,000-year-old mystery. Ages 12 & up. Thursday, Sept 19 • 4–6 pm Caldwell Woods, Grove 1, 6350 W Devon Ave, Chicago Story Trail* Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, experience a story unfold along a short trail. A craft is available to take home upon story trail completion. Thursdays, Sept 19, 26 • 9:30–11 am Catherine Chevalier Woods, Grove 1, N East River Rd, north of W Foster Ave, Chicago Community Powwow ‘Every Child Matters’ at this traditional Powwow.
