Participate in a simulated fossil hunt to shed light on a 12,000-year-old mystery. Ages 12 & up. Thursday, Sept 19 • 4–6 pm Caldwell Woods, Grove 1, 6350 W Devon Ave, Chicago Crafternoon* Use nature to inspire art and try your hand at a variety of arts and crafts. Ages 13–19. Thursday, Sept 19 • 4:30–7 pm Breman Grove, Oak Park Ave, south of 159th St, Tinley Park Fishing 101* Come out for an afternoon of aquatic education and casting lessons. Ages 12 & up. Enjoy a bonfire with s’mores, listen to scary stories and search for bats on a night hike.
