Thousands of children are bitten each year by dogs, and most of these bites can be prevented just by learning some basic “dog language” and understanding how to approach a new furry friend. Join some special trained canine guests from Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy to learn what a dog might be saying to you, and how you can safely approach new dogs. While you’re at it, you’ll learn just how smart man’s best friend can be by watching the dogs perform tricks for you. Sessions occur twice between 10 and 11 a.m. on the following Mondays: • Oct 7 & 21 • Nov 4 & 18 • Dec 2 & 16 Please note: Live animals are part of this programming, which is held in separate rooms with special rugs exclusively for animals. If your child has allergies or fear of animals, you may wish not to attend. DOG SAFETY
