36 Tue, Nov 26: Stu ed Animal Day It’s our Monthly Make Believe Day. Bring in your favorite plush toy for a day of activities with your best stu ed friend in the whole world! We’ll do special puppet shows, story times, and other animal-themed activities! Mon, Nov 25: Thanksgiving Monday The Museum will observe extended Monday hours until 5 p.m. Thu, Nov 28: Thanksgiving Day Museum closed. Sun, Dec 1, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Members-Only Morning Museum exhibits will be open exclusively for the use of Kohl Children’s Museum members and their guests! Free admission for all those covered under active Museum memberships; guests may be asked to pay regular admission rates. Tue, Dec 17: Monthly Make Believe – Pajama Day! Bring your warmest jammies and wear them for plenty of special activities like slipper match, bedtime stories, and lullaby sing-alongs! Mon, Dec 23 & 30: Winter Break The Museum will observe extended Monday hours until 5 p.m. the two Mondays of winter break. Tue &Wed, Dec 24 & 25: Christmas Holidays Museum closed. Tue, Dec 31: NewYear’s Eve Bash We’re transforming an entire wing of the Museum into a giant Times Square-style party with the biggest confetti drop you’ve ever seen! Children’s concert, DJ and dance party, hat making and horns, family photos, and a Times Square-style confetti drop! Tickets are $32 per person; $22 for members. $5 early bird discount for tickets purchased by December 20. Tickets required. Wed, Jan 1: NewYear’s Day Museum closed. CALENDAR OF EVENTS GARDEN BUDDIES Taking place every Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Habitat Park through October 25, this program lets children learn about seeds, weeds, worms, fruits and vegeta- bles, and the joys of digging in the dirt and growing plants. Master gardeners from University of Illinois Extension and other local horticultural institutions lead sessions.
