38 Fitness for All activities are focused around getting and staying healthy. Whether it’s an opportunity to build your endurance, stretch your muscles, or build gross motor skills, we’ll help put the “active” in interactive. Unless otherwise noted, Fitness for All activities take place Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Habitat Park , weather permitting. After October 26, Fitness for All will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. inside the Museum. CALENDAR OF EVENTS FITNESS FOR ALL Oct 7 – 19: Loose Parts Explore the wonders of cardboard boxes, balls, hoops, and other loose material. Oct 21 – 26 & Oct 29 & 31: Waving Scarves and Ribbons Wave, twirl, spin and freeze! Have fun with colorful scarves and ribbons as you move to the beat of the music. Nov 5, 7, 13 & 15: Animal Yoga Bend and stretch into various yoga poses inspired by your favorite animals. Nov 19, 21 & 26: Follow the Farmer Keep your balance as you follow the leader through our farm-inspired floor maze. Dec 3, 5, 10 & 12: Frozen Feet Wiggle your body the best way you know how, but when the music stops…freeze! Dec 17, 19 & 26: Balance Challenge Test your skills as you balance a ball on a spoon while navigating through different obstacle courses.
