Programming takes place approximately every other Wednesday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Oct 9 & 23: DIYWater Filter Don’t throw away that 2-liter plastic bottle! Learn how to repurpose it into a water filter. Nov 6 & 20: pH Art How do we know if something is acidic or basic? Let’s explore the pH scale through painting. Dec 4 & 18: Blubber Hands Come experience how mammals that live in very cold temperatures stay warm. Math Counts introduces children to the wonderful worth of math in a fun, informative way. Enjoy a special story time before engaging in fun activities that deal with the basic building blocks of math: sets and patterns, counting, numerosity, geometry – even algebraic thinking! Programming takes place approximately every other Friday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Oct 11 & 25: Let’s Roll! Create your own cardboard dice using numbers or shapes for each side. Nov 8 & 22: Fabric Here, There & Everywhere Create a bar graph by sorting and stacking fun-colored fabric squares. Dec 6 & 20: HowMany?
