50 VOLUNTEER Become a part of one of the nation’s best children’s museums by assisting us with your volunteer time and service. Volunteering is a wonderful way to utilize your unique skills while also giving back to the Museum, and there are many ways to assist. Requirements (some or all may apply) • Minimum age: 14 or older (all Juniors/Seniors in High School fulfilling academic-related service hours are welcome to apply) • Reliable, flexible, and endowed with great people skills • Experience interacting with younger children helpful • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time • Prior volunteer/work experience helpful, but not essential • Enthusiasm about volunteering and supporting the community Bene ts • Learn and develop new skills • Meet and build a community of friends • Gain experience working with children at special events, or work “behind the scenes” • Gain personal satisfaction giving back to the community • Develop or enhance professional skills for the future • Invitations to volunteer recognition event For more: www.kcmgc.org/volunteer (847) 832-6892 SUPPORT US
