40 CALENDAR OF EVENTS Calling all junior chefs! Join us at Kohl Children’s Museum for our Kitchen Creations program featuring farm-to- table food preparation and nutritious eating. Twice a month we will use a variety of ingredients and transform them into healthy snacks, salads, and more! Kitchen Creations will occur approximately every other Tuesday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. May 7 & 21: Lettuce Taco Boats Make your own healthy taco boat with crunchy lettuce and colorful veggies. Jun 4 & 18: Summer Fruit Parfaits Mix up your own fruit parfait for a quick summer treat. The Museum’s Tinkering Tuesday program encourages children to do what they do best - let their curiosity take over! Explore the world of engineering by building machines and creating processes, and then explore what happens when you make changes or do things differently. Programming takes place approximately every other Tuesday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. on the Museum’s STEAM Cart at announced locations in the Museum exhibits. April 2, 16 & 30: Bug City Think like an architect and transform recycled material into a home fit for an insect friend. May 14 & 28: Paper Robots Craft your own battery-free robot out of paper. June 11 & 25: Catch the Wind Learn about wind energy by engineering a pinwheel to model a wind turbine. Programming underwritten by TINKERING TUESDAYS KITCHEN CREATIONS
