Story Time takes place Mondays at 11 a.m. (selections for children birth to 5) and Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. (selections for children 4 to 8). Walk into the pages of two different books every month with our interactive storytelling led by Museum professionals. Literacy programming has been underwritten in part by EY. Mondays at 11 a.m. (for younger children) April 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29: Over the Meadow by Olive Wadsworth Count on adventures with these mother animals and their babies in a picture-perfect meadow. May 6, 13, 20, & 27: The Thank You Book by Mo Willems Piggie decides to thank everyone who is important to her. But what if she forgets someone? June 3, 10, 17, & 24: The Sun and the Wind by Mairi Mackinnon “I’m strong!” says the sun. “I’m stronger!” says the wind — but how can they prove it? Enjoy the retelling of this classic Aesop fable. Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. (for older children) April 3, 10, 17 & 24: Blue Whale Blues by Peter Carnavas Whale has bike trouble and sings the blues. Happy-go-lucky penguin hears him and tries to cheer him up. Together, they learn to laugh more and worry less! June 5, 12, 19 & 26: Otto Goes to the Beach by Todd Parr Otto goes to the beach to find a friend. He meets a crabby crab. Then he meets a laughing cat.
