Dress all in your favorite color and participate in a rainbow of art and color-related activities. Don’t forget–bring in non-perishable food items to donate, and we’ll o er one free child Museum admission as well. Thu, Jul 4: Independence Day The Museum will be closed. Thu, Jul 25, 5:30 - 8 p.m.: Members-Only Evening with Nature Cat Museum exhibits will be open exclusively for the use of Kohl Children’s Museum members and their guests! Get a sneak peek at our new Nature Cat: Backyard and Beyond exhibit! Free admission for all those covered under active Museum memberships; guests may be asked to pay regular admission rates. Tue, Jul 30: Grand Opening of Nature Cat: Backyard and Beyond Join us for the world debut of Kohl Children’s Museum’s brand-new traveling exhibit, based on the PBS Kids television show. Roam onward and yonward with Nature Cat and his animal pals Hal, Daisy, and Squeeks as they explore the great outdoors! Go spelunking in a cave, help clean up a marsh, learn about the hidden wildlife of a meadow, and explore a little urban gardening. On exhibit through January 26. Exhibit has been underwritten by the Hamill Family Foundation and was developed in partnership with WTTW and Spi y Pictures. BABY AND ME TIME (every Monday 9:30 - 11 a.m.) We know that life with an infant is a big change. That’s why we have created this free group for new parents to meet others to talk about adjusting to parenthood. Join us to: • Talk about your concerns, share your experiences • Meet other parents who are up all night too • Share your biggest accomplishments • Share, learn, and laugh with others just like you A nurse representative from our partners at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital will also be on hand to answer questions and facilitate discussions on early childhood development and parenting topics. This meet-up group is free for parents and infants; however, regular Museum admission prices will apply for access to the Museum exhibits with additional children.
