Toying with Tech introduces children to the exciting world of technology in a developmentally appropriate way, laying the groundwork for thinking like a programmer. Jul 11 & 25: ScratchJr. Do you want to create a code, a story, or an animated scene? This month we will be demonstrating and exploring how to use the ScratchJr programming app. We encourage participants to bring their own tablet with ScratchJr (free app) to use during program. Aug 8 & 22: Following Directions By giving them a series of directions, children will lead adults through a shape map while problem solving and debugging when encountering “bugs” to reach a determined end.
