NEIL ROBINSON ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR In London’s West End his most recent credits include Sunset Boulevard, Carousel, Chess and Man of La Mancha (all at the London Coliseum). He is a regular assistant director for English National Opera and has worked for the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Welsh National Opera and Nevill Holt Opera. Internationally, he has worked on productions for both the Dutch and Polish National Opera companies, the Royal Danish Opera, Berlin’s Komische Oper and Oper Frankfurt. He has directed numerous productions at the Edinburgh Festival and on the London Fringe, including The Fantasticks, Assassins and a new musical adaptation of Wuthering Heights. LUCY HIND MOVEMENT DIRECTOR Born in South Africa, she has received critical acclaim for Girl from the North Country (Old Vic/West End and the Public Theater in New York). Other recent work includes Sting’s The Last Ship (UK tour and Toronto), Miss Littlewood (RSC), Calendar Girls (UK tour), Ugly Lies the Bone (NT), No’s Knife (Old Vic), The Snowmaiden (Opera North), and The Merchant of Venice (Globe Theatre/world tour). She has been an Associate Artist of the award-winning Slung Low for over 12 years. Recent choreography for television includes several Christmas shows for CBeebies and the award-winning series Banana for Channel 4. MIAH IM ASSISTANT CONDUCTOR Miah Im, originally from Toronto, Canada, is Head of Music Staff at Los Angeles Opera. She serves as assistant conductor, pianist and prompter, working alongside music director James Conlon and closely with the singers and pianists from the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program. Ms. Im is also a member of Opera America’s; Women’s Opera Network (WON). WON works to increase diversity and gender parity through the support and advancement of talented emerging female professionals in opera. She has collaborated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the Taiwan Philharmonic, as well as the Seoul Arts Center of South Korea. At the Daegu Opera House, Miah was Principal Coach and Assistant Conductor. Previously she was Principal Coach and Conductor of the University of Toronto Opera School, Music Director of the University of Maryland Opera Studio, San Diego Opera Young Artists Ensemble and co-music director of the Concerts Artists Program for the Oberlin in Italy program. Miah has served on the music staffs for Lyric Opera of Chicago, New York City and Wolftrap Operas, Ravinia Music Festival, The Juilliard School and the Centre for Opera Studies in Italy. She has taught at the Royal College of Music in London and worked with the Jette Parker Young Artists at the Royal Opera House. As a former faculty member at the Aspen Music Festival she has taught, performed, conducted and served as principal coach and chorus master for their opera productions. Ms. Im has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Houston Grand Opera, Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Saint Louis and New World Symphonies. Her performances have been featured on WQXR in New York City, NPR and on the CBC radio. Miah Im was the inaugural recipient of the Marilyn Horne Foundation Award for Excellence in Vocal Accompanying in which she appeared as a featured artist on the foundation’s annual gala concert. She holds degrees from the University of Michigan in Piano Performance, a Minor in Italian and a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music.
