DEVON GUTHRIE Devon Guthrie is en- joying an international operatic career after completing her train- ing at Juilliard. Career highlights include her career-launching roles of Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro and Pami- na in The Magic Flute at English National Opera; creating the role of Mary in Fellow Travelers with Cincinnati Opera, the Prototype Festival, and Lyric Opera of Chicago; multiple seasons with Santa Fe Opera, including the roles of Marzel- line in Fidelio and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus ; Susanna in a touring production of The Marriage of Figaro in Japan with Seiji Ozawa; Konstanze in The Abduction from the Seraglio at Kentucky Opera; and Drusilla in The Coronation of Poppea with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Gurthrie’s 2019–20 season highlights include returning to The Paul Taylor Dance Company as the soprano soloist for Beloved Renegade at Lincoln Center, Sandman/Dewfairy in Hansel and Gretel at San Diego Opera, and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus at Fort Worth Opera. www.devonguthrie.com CAMERON ANIKA HILL Cameron Anika Hill is a New Jersey native who graduated from the University of Cin- cinnati College-Con- servatory of Music with a BFA in musical theatre in 2016. Hill was fea- tured as a resident company member at Music Theatre Wichita (2015 and 2016) as well as at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (2017 and 2018). Broadway credits include Dear Evan Hansen . Hill’s regional credits include The Wiz (The Muny), In the Heights (PCLO), Mamma Mia! (Westchester Broadway), Beauty and the Beast (MTW), and Little Shop of Horrors (Gretna The- atre). Follow along @cameronanika ALEXA JARVIS Alexa Jarvis recently joined the Metropoli- tan Opera as a full-time performer, appearing in more than 17 different productions through- out the season. Other 2018–19 season highlights include performances with Vashon Opera (Mimì in La bohème ), Pa- cific Northwest Opera (Liù in Turandot ), Sym- phony Space (Jake Heggie’s monodrama At the Statue of Venus ), and American Opera Projects (title role of Mehmet Salih Yildirim’s Judith and Holofernes ). Her solo and international credits also include Theater Lüneburg ( La bohème ), Seattle Symphony ( Orphèe aux enfers , Final Fantasy ), Carnegie Hall ( Chanson perpetuelle ), Seattle Opera ( La bohème , Turandot ), and Bei- jing Music Festival ( My Fair Lady ). Jarvis can also be heard on several video-game and mov- ie soundtracks, from the Grammy-nominated children’s fable The Shoe Bird to The Industrial Musicals Movie . AMY JUSTMAN Amy Justman returns to Ravinia after singing in Weill’s Mahagonny Songspiel in 2009. She also previously sang in Bernstein’s Mass at Carnegie Hall and can be heard on the Naxos recording. Justman’s Broadway credits include covering both Renée Fleming and Jessie Mueller in Carousel , Com- pany (original cast recording and PBS Great Performances ), In Transit , A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder , Phantom of the Opera , and White Christmas . This season, she was a princi- pal cover for David Lang’s prisoner of the state with the New York Philharmonic and also sang on the orchestra’s Nightcap series. Other recent credits include Polly in Weill’s The Threepenny Opera , Mother in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors , and The Stonewall Operas with Amer- ican Opera Projects. She is a former winner of the Kurt Weill/Lotte Lenya Competition and appeared on the series Fosse/Verdon for FX. www.amyjustman.com MEREDITH LUSTIG Meredith Lustig recent- ly appeared in Bern- stein’s Candide (Phila- delphia Orchestra) and as Blanche DuBois in Previn’s A Streetcar Named Desire (Opera Company Middlebury). Her credits also include Gianetta in L’elisir d’amore and Cephisia in Or- pheus (New York City Opera), Eurydice in Or- pheus in the Underworld (Virginia Opera), Fiona in Brigadoon (Gulfshore Opera), Megan in The Whole Truth (AmericanModern Ensemble), and Musetta in La bohème (Syracuse Opera). Lustig has been a resident artist at Pittsburgh Opera (Papagena in The Magic Flute , Zina in Dark Sis- ters , Carolina in Il Matrimonio Segreto , Clorin- da in La Cenerentola ), Aspen Festival (Daisy in The Great Gatsby ), Glimmarglass (Bella in An American Tragedy ), Ravinia’s Steans Music Insti- tute, Caramoor, New York Festival of Song, and Town Hall Theatre. Favorite symphonic appear- ances include Carmina Burana (Erie Philhar- monic), Serenade to Music (Chicago Sympho- ny Orchestra), Bernstein’s Mass (Philadelphia, Chicago), and pops with the Dallas and Detroit Symphonies. An avid recitalist, her Shakespeare program, “Cupid Painted Blind,” debuted with 23Arts Initiative. meredithlustig.com TIMOTHY MCDEVITT Baritone Timothy Mc- Devitt’s current season includes Maximillian in Candide with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Harry Easter in Street Scene at Oper Köln, and Call Me Madam with New York City Cen- ter Encores!. On the opera stage, McDevitt has starred in Les Mamelles de Tiresias at La Mon- naie and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, L’isola disabitata at Alice Tully Hall, Les Enfants Terri- bles with North Carolina Opera, Zaide with the NewWorld Symphony, and La fanciulla del West with New York City Opera. His numerous the- ater and concert credits include Mass with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Carousel for Live from Lincoln Center, Guys and Dolls at Carnegie Hall, West Side Story with Tokyo’s NHK Symphony, South Pacific at Ash Lawn, The Secret Garden at Baltimore Center Stage, The Dreyfus Affair at BAM, Thou Swell with the New York City Ballet, and several appearances with NYCC Encores!: Brigadoon , Me and My Girl , The New Yorkers , and Lady Be Good .
