In celebration of the 50th anniversary of its premiere opening the Kennedy Center, Leonard Bernstein’s Mass returns to PBS screens in September with Ravinia’s critically acclaimed production, which originally aired on Great Performances last spring. Tune in to WTTW, Chicago’s PBS station, on September 12 to rediscover the “sharply dramatic, intricately choreographed, and ferociously performed … Bernstein magnum opus” ( Chicago Tribune ) starring Tony winner Paulo Szot as the Celebrant with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra led by Ravinia Chief Conductor and Curator Marin Alsop!
