Tiny Habits also began getting wider notice a er early praise from the likes of David Crosby, Justin Timberlake, Marcus Mumford, Phoebe Bridgers, Jacob Collier, Joe Jonas, Lennon Stella, Andy Grammar, Ben Platt, Ziggy Alberts, and Adam Melchor. ey have since collaborated with Mark Ron- son, JP Saxe, and Lizzy McAlpine—support- ing the latter in her performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts—and toured alongside Eloise, Alexander , Ingrid Michaelson, and Lawrence. Tiny Habits recently signed with the Harbour Artists and released their rst EP of original material, Tiny ings , a re ection of their personal experiences, highlighting deep human connection and emotional journeys. A separate single, “pennies (voice memo),” was released last September and garnered over , plays across all streaming platforms in the rst month. eir rst full production single—“hemenway,” featured on the EP—appeared a month later, and they contributed the song “Ember” to the soundtrack of Net ix’s Your Place of Mine , premiered in February. Tiny Habits is making its Ravinia debut. JACOB COLLIER Fusing jazz, a cappella, folk, electronic, classi- cal, gospel, and soul music with category-de- fying improvisations, Jacob Collier has at- tracted more than one-and-a-quarter million followers and million YouTube streams since , when he released his rst home- made multitrack video. e singer, composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist is recog- nized by audiences, critics, and fellow musi- cians alike as one of the most gi ed artists of modern times, with Collier having amassed an endless array of achievements by age , including ve Grammy wins among nom- inations, which included Album of the Year in . He exploded onto the global stage with the viral success of his multi-visual, multi-instrumental covers on YouTube, as well as original electro-acoustic tracks, catch- ing the attention of numerous jazz musicians like Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, and Quincy Jones, who mentored Collier toward releasing his debut album, In My Room , in . While studying jazz piano performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Collier collaborated with the MIT Media Lab to design and build a live perfor- mance vehicle to bring his one-man format to the stage—he debuted it at the Montreux Jazz Festival while opening for Hancock and Corea, and gave a TED Talk about the tech- nology in . From the singluar process of recording, composing, and producing In My Room entirely at his home in London, Collier has naturally embraced collaborations with a varied and vibrant range of musicians from all over the world, including on his ongoing four-album epic, Djesse . His voice has been featured on recent songs from the likes of Coldplay, SZA, Stormzy, and Kehlani, while on his own projects, Collier has worked with Malian singer Oumou Sangaré, John May- er, T-Pain, Ty Dolla ign, Daniel Caesar, Tori Kelly, and Mahali, among many other artists. Alongside the upcoming release of Djesse Vol. , he has plans for future projects centered on solo piano, orchestras, and lm scoring, and he has written for a forthcoming West End musical on the life of the legendary opera singer Luciano Pavarotti. Jacob Collier made his Ravinia debut in and is return- ing to the festival for the rst time. LAWRENCE Clyde Lawrence and Gracie Lawrence have been writing songs and listening to countless Stevie Wonder, Randy Newman, and Aretha Franklin records since they were little kids in their family’s New York City apartment. A er years of playing together, the siblings creat- ed Lawrence, an eight-piece soul-pop band composed of musician friends from child- hood and college. Some of their rst music appeared on Clyde’s album Homesick , but the band made their o cial recording debut in with Breakfast , featuring pro- duction by Eric Krasno (Lettuce, Tedeschi Trucks, Soulive) and guest performances by Adam Deitch (Lettuce), Cory Henry (Snarky Puppy), and Maurice “Mobetta” Brown (Te- deschi Trucks). Lawrence’s sophomore Living Room quickly hit number two on iTunes’ R&B/soul chart, landing the band their rst late-night TV spot on Last Call with Carson Daly . In July , Lawrence released their latest album, Hotel TV , and became the rst band to appear on Beautiful Mind Re- cords, the label of Grammy-winning produc- er/songwriter/artist Jon Bellion, who co-pro- duced and co-wrote the songs on the album. Its tracks have garnered tens of millions of streams across all platforms, and recently the album’s lead single “Don’t Lose Sight” was featured in an international Microso com- mercial. e song also cracked into Top radio and was played on over multi-for- mat stations across the US. e band added to their TV credits playing “Don’t Lose Sight” on Jimmy Kimmel Live and e Late Show with Stephen Colbert , and they closed both of their sets at Coachella with the song, including an impromptu audience sing-along. Touring has been key to Lawrence’s rise, including sold- out shows in support of Hotel TV at Terminal in New York City, House of Blues in Chi- cago, and the Royale in Boston, among oth- er venues. ey have also co-headlined with MisterWives and hit the road opening for the likes of Lake Street Dive, Vulfpeck, O.A.R., and Bernho in addition to playing such fes- tivals as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Fire y, Okeechobee, Hangout, and Summer- fest.
