REACH Ravinia connects with elementary and middle schools to bring leading music ensembles and soloists into classrooms to spark a love of live performances. RTP also partners with over 150 social service agencies, public libraries, day camps, and music schools to fortify their learning programs with music and provide access to Ravinia concerts for their communities. TEACH Thousands of K–3rd-grade students in 30 Chicago Public Schools bereft of music programs are provided music education through the partnership of Ravinia and their classroom teachers. Ravinia Teaching Artists lead multi-week, interactive musical residencies in their classrooms. Engaging with the foundations of music, the children also expand their learning and social skills while expressing themselves creatively. PLAY Ravinia gives students who are passionate about music the opportunity to deepen their connection and play musical instruments. Through such programs as a community family music school for all ages, El Sistema–inspired orchestra programs for 3rd–12th- graders, and a mentorship program for Chicago high school jazz musicians, students nurture their talents and foster social development and professional skills that encourage future success.
