Her career as a bass player skyrocketed after attending a bass camp led by the legendary Victor Wooten—three months later, the virtuoso invited Roxx to join his touring group. After five years alongside the five- time Grammy winner, Roxx landed the music director’s chair on tour with Beyoncé. In addition to playing bass in the band, she was a featured soloist and composed original music for the I …AM Sasha Fierce tour. Roxx has also appeared on numerous television shows, from Good Morning America to Saturday Night Live to the Grammy Awards broadcast. Further highlights have included an appearance on Soul Man and a special performance at The White House with President Barack Obama. With her Divi Roxx Kids productions, Divinity furthers a mission to inspire and em- power through music—her debut children’s album Ready Set Go! earned a Grammy nomination and saw two songs adapted as fully illustrated picture books by Scholastic Inc. Her other works include the theatrical production The Boy Who Kissed the Sky , created with The Alliance Theater (Atlanta) and Seattle Children’s Theater, and Roxx is developing a debut one-woman show with Crossroads Theater (New Jersey) as well as a new series of chil- dren’s books and media.
