The Piano & Strings Program focuses on chamber music and sonatas, and the Singers Program emphasizes art songs and their direct- to-audience drama. The Jazz Program highlights both quintets of original music from each fellow and competition-winning new compositions that fuse of jazz combo with classical string quartet. PERFORMANCE RSMI musicians are featured on the Bennett Gordon Hall stage in about two dozen concerts each summer, providing audiences with a first look at artists as they gather international acclaim. Between compelling curated programs and singular focus on this intimate jazz and classical music, these phenomenal performances become the backbone for future encounters with the ever-growing repertoire. PERSONAL Ahallmark of RSMI’s highly sought-after programs is personalized artistic guidance through immersive repertoire study and workshops with the world-renowned faculty of performing artists, pedagogues, scholars, and specialists.
