PANTONE FALL 2017 COLOR PALETTE
DRESS IN GREEN
Bridesmaids dresses are the perfect place to impress with green.
Something fun and flirty works very well with this lively color.
The groomsmen can show some green too. In one wedding, the
groomsmen donned striped pink and green ties to match the green
bridesmaid dresses. A long, all green tie is dapper too.
Brides can get in on the fun by adding some green to their gown,
especially if they’re wearing white or ivory dresses. A green colored belt,
colored gem jewelry, or even a pair of green heels will make a mark. You
can wear them again and it will be super original.
If you’d rather bring green to your top half, headpieces and crowns are a
current trend and easy to incorporate green into.
ADD GREEN TO DECOR
Splashes of Greenery can be added to almost every bit of decor
throughout your wedding. Start with green motifs in your wedding
stationary from save the dates and invites to table cards and thank you
notes.
At the ceremony, add green ribboning on aisles or to a wedding arch if
you’re going that route. At the venue, options are galore from lush pops of
greenery on table runners, table clothes and napkins to candles and chair
accents. However, if the bridesmaids dresses are green, stay clear of too
much greenery on the tables. You don’t want them disappearing into the
tables.
Green can even extend to the ceilings. Instead of hanging lanterns or
paper lanterns, which have been around forever, brides can incorporate
hanging or draped greens from ceilings.
