Free chamber and choral performances in cultural centers
throughout Chicago, including concerts by the Grant Park Chorus
at the South Shore Cultural Center (July 30) and Columbus Park
Refectory (August 1).
YOUNG ARTISTS SHOWCASE
A weekly concert series by music students from Chicago public
schools, prior to the Grant Park Orchestra taking the stage. Fridays,
5:30
PM near the Great Lawn.
OPEN REHEARSALS
Free open rehearsals of the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus
offering informal talks about the week’s concerts, led by Festival
docents. Tuesdays through Fridays, 11:00AM—1:00PM at the Jay
Pritzker Pavilion.
